Hypnosis is a state of mind that we all experience every day of our lives. It is the trance like state on waking, of being half asleep and half awake, because of this only a rare few cannot be hypnotised.
During your initial assessment you will discuss with your therapist the treatment that is appropriate for you. Whatever process is applied hypnosis can usually be integrated and often complements the psychotherapeutic process.
Hypnosis customarily creates a deeply relaxed state in which mental stress and bodily tension is considerably reduced. The client and therapist will work together using a mutually agreed approach. In this safe relaxed state the mind is more receptive to the process of change. This process will, as a consequence enhance physical, emotional and mental well-being.
